On December 14, 2022, Arobase held an event in Toulon on the theme « Collective skills in the service of social innovation ».
This forum took place at the ALTernativ 83 third place. In fact, associating a third place with the event was the best way to illustrate the strength of the collective, the ability to adapt to territorial needs, and social innovation.
This day also marked the end of the Month of Social and Solidarity Economy, which highlighted the many initiatives of actors throughout November. About fifty people participated in the event.
The morning was dedicated to collective skills, with a presentation by Arobase of European research and the INN-CO program (Erasmus+). The audience was invited to participate in a collaborative workshop. We were thus able to link the collective dynamics within the various groups with the European work done with partners.
The afternoon aimed to put social innovation and social entrepreneurship in perspective through several local initiatives. The young project holders of the « Ose tes idées » program presented their file to a jury in which Arobase intervened as youth expert. As a result, young grants were awarded to 2 cultural projects of general interest, funded by CAF du Var with the support of the SDJES (Youth and Sports Service).
The present actors were then invited to a round table to share their experience and highlight the current dynamics : third places, local collaborative initiatives, the popular education actions of La Ligue 83 and those of the professionals present.
We were pleased to receive Jean Gatel, former Secretary of State for SSE, and author of several books on the subject, who throughout the day shared his experience on various themes: history, review of the 2014 law, positioning of the sector between public and market economy, social and organizational innovations, perspectives in light of current social and international challenges.
The Arobase team thanks the ALTernativ83 third place for its hospitality and involvement in the organization of this day. We met an inspiring and proactive team. We felt at home.
We also thank the Toulon youth for their collective strength and commitment (about thirty participants). We appreciated their involvement in the workshops and exchanges throughout the day. Daring to speak before the agora is a special exercise and their interventions nourished the debates and reflections!
We were pleased to welcome our training students in Management of social corporation, who came to meet the present actors in the SSE and contribute to the reflections. We thank the Region Sud for its support to our dear social entrepreneurs interns.
Finally, we thank all the present partners, who work daily for « living together better ». We hope that the links established during this day will continue and develop in the future. The road is still long, but events like this allow to strengthen the links between actors in the Social and Solidarity Economy and to recharge energy.
